Welcome to Lund – The Easiest Way to Get Here

Lund is located in southern Sweden, in the region of Skåne, and is very easy to reach from anywhere in the world thanks to its proximity to Copenhagen Airport (CPH) – the largest international airport in Scandinavia.


✈️ By Air – The Most Convenient Option

Most international travelers fly to Copenhagen Airport in Denmark. The airport offers direct connections to major cities across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia.

From the airport, you can take a direct train to Lund Central Station:

  • 🚆 Direct train from the airport to Lund

  • Travel time: approximately 35–40 minutes

  • Departures: several times per hour

  • No transfers required

The train crosses the impressive Öresund Bridge, connecting Denmark and Sweden.

Tickets can be purchased at the airport ticket machines or via the Skånetrafiken app.


🇸🇪 Alternative: Flying to Malmö

You may also fly to Malmö Airport (MMX), which primarily serves European destinations.

From Malmö Airport:

  • 🚌 Airport bus to Malmö Central Station (approx. 40 minutes)

  • 🚆 Train from Malmö Central Station to Lund (approx. 10–15 minutes)

Total travel time: approximately 60–75 minutes.


🚆 Traveling from Within Sweden

If you are already in Sweden, Lund is well connected by train:

  • From Stockholm: approximately 4–4.5 hours by high-speed train

  • From Gothenburg: approximately 2.5–3 hours

  • From Malmö: approximately 10–15 minutes

Swedish trains are comfortable, reliable, and run frequently.


🚗 By Car

Lund is easily accessible by car via the E6/E20 motorway and is directly connected to Denmark via the Öresund Bridge.
